The Alpenglow Consort is a student-led instrumental ensemble at Caldera High School inclusive of various acoustic instruments. With the orchestral strings at it’s center, the Consort strives to bring the enthusiasm of students for music at Caldera for various genres and styles. Our music ranges from classical to jazz, pop, early music, irish music, bardcore, and more.
Instrumentation
The Alpenglow Consort is formed of three violinists, two violists, two saxophonists, two guitarists, a percussionist, and a bassist. The music we rehearse and perform varies, and is generally decided communally by our members.

🌈 Friday, April 4th – Spring Downtown Performance
On Friday April 4th, the Consort performed a large part of it’s set in downtown at the Tower Theater.

🍀 Monday, March 17th – St. Patrick’s Day Performance
The Consort performed Irish music on March 17th in the Caldera media center for St. Patrick’s Day!

🏞️ Wednesday, March 12th – March Concert
The Consort performed at 7:00 in the Caldera H.S. auditorium during the CHS/HDMS Orchestra Vertical Concert.
